Weekly digest email

Better Comply automatically sends you a weekly email summarising your team's training status. There is nothing to configure - you receive it as long as your account has a registered email address and your team has activity worth reporting.

Who this is for

Team Leads (supervisors, foremen, line leads) with a registered email address.

What the digest contains

Each weekly digest covers:

  • Team size - the number of workers currently in your team.
  • Overdue count - assignments past their due date (after the grace period).
  • Due soon count - assignments due within the next 14 days.
  • Recent passes - assignments completed by your team since the previous digest.
  • Per-person breakdown - each team member with their individual overdue and due-soon counts.

The email is sent in your language. If your profile language is set to German, for example, the digest arrives in German.

When it arrives

The digest is sent on a schedule configured by your system operator - typically once a week. The exact day and time depend on your organisation's setup.

The digest is skipped for you if your whole team has zero overdue assignments, zero due-soon assignments, and no passes since the last send. You only receive an email when there is something worth acting on.

Who receives the digest

You receive the digest if all of the following are true:

  • You hold a Team Lead role in Better Comply.
  • At least one worker has your user ID as their manager_id (foreman) or line_lead_id (line lead).
  • Your profile has a real, deliverable email address.

Emailless supervisors are skipped. If you sign in only at a shared kiosk terminal and your account was created without an email address, the system cannot deliver the digest to you. Your team's data is still visible on the My Team dashboard and in Reports when you are logged in.

Delivery record

Every digest attempt - whether sent, skipped, or failed - is recorded in an internal delivery ledger (report_deliveries). Your administrator can check this ledger to confirm whether a digest was sent and to which address. The ledger is the durable record of delivery; the audit log entry for the send is operational and best-effort. For more detail, see Reports and notifications.

If you did not receive a digest you expected

  1. Check your spam or junk folder.
  2. Confirm with your administrator that your email address is correctly set on your profile.
  3. Ask your administrator to check the delivery ledger for your supervisor ID to see whether the send was attempted, skipped, or failed.

Common reasons a digest is skipped:

  • Your team had no overdue, due-soon, or recently passed assignments that week.
  • Your account does not have a sendable email address (emailless / kiosk account).
