Team reports
The Reports page gives you a detailed, evaluation-focused view of your team's training compliance - more depth than the My Team dashboard.
Team Leads (supervisors, foremen, line leads). Administrators see the full organisation; you see only the people you supervise.
Opening Reports
- Log in to Better Comply.
- Click Reports in the left navigation menu.
You can only see the people you supervise - either as their foreman (manager_id) or their line lead (line_lead_id). No client-side filter is applied; the database enforces this automatically. You cannot see data for workers outside your team, and you cannot widen your own view.
Two views
Reports has two tabs: By Department and By Person.
By Department tab
This tab rolls up your team members into departments and shows:

| People | Number of team members in that department |
| Overdue | Assignments past the due date (after the training's grace period) |
| Due soon | Assignments due within the next 14 days |
| Completion rate | Percentage of all assignments in the department that are passed |
Rows with the most overdue assignments appear at the top, so the most urgent departments are immediately visible.
Clicking a department row switches to the By Person tab filtered to that department.
By Person tab
This tab lists individual team members with their summary counts:

Search by name to find someone quickly. If you clicked through from the By Department tab, a department chip appears above the list - click the chip to remove the filter.
Clicking a person's row opens their drill-down panel (see below).
Person drill-down
Clicking a team member's row opens a panel on the right side of the screen with all their assignments:

Each assignment row has a chevron icon on the left. Click it to expand or collapse the quiz-answer review for that assignment.
Reviewing missed quiz answers
When you expand an assignment, Better Comply shows the team member's latest quiz attempt question by question. For each incorrect answer you see:
- The question text.
- What the member chose.
- The correct answer.
- The author's explanation (where one was written).
Use this to decide whether a team member needs targeted coaching on a specific topic, or whether a question is consistently tripping up multiple people (which may indicate a problem with the content itself - raise that with your administrator).
You only see incorrect answers. Correct answers are not shown, which keeps the drill-down focused on what needs attention.
Definitions: overdue and due soon

| Overdue | The assignment is not completed, the due date has passed, and the training's grace period has also expired. |
| Due soon | The assignment is not completed and the due date falls within the next 14 days. |
Grace periods are set by administrators when they configure a training. An assignment only becomes overdue after both the due date and the grace period have passed.
Exporting data
The Export CSV button at the top right of the Reports page downloads the currently active view:
- By Department tab - one row per department with people, overdue, due-soon, and rate columns.
- By Person tab - one row per team member with passed, overdue, and total columns. Any active search or department filter is applied before export.
Depth and admin reports
The Reports page shown here is scoped to your team. Administrators can see organisation-wide data and access additional filters and export options. See Reports and notifications for the full picture.
