My Trainings
The My Trainings page is your daily starting point in Better Comply. It shows every training currently assigned to you, grouped into those still to complete and those already done.
Employees - everyone with at least one training assignment.
What you see on each training card
Each card shows:
- Title and description - the name and a short summary of the training.
- Status badge - your current progress (see table below).
- Due date - the deadline set by your administrator.
- Content indicators - small icons showing whether the training includes a document, a quiz, or both.
- Progress bar - visible only for in-progress trainings; shows how far through the content you have read.
- Action button - Start, Continue, or View depending on your status.
Status badges explained
| Badge | Meaning | Button label |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Not started yet | Start |
| In Progress | Started but not finished | Continue |
| Overdue | Past the deadline and grace window | Start |
| Failed | Used all quiz attempts without passing | Start |
| Completed | Done - evidence recorded | View |
Due dates and the overdue grace window
The due date is when your administrator expects you to finish. After that date, the card shows the date in red - but the training does not immediately turn Overdue.
Many trainings carry a short grace window - an extra buffer set by the quality team. The Overdue badge appears only after both the due date AND the grace window have passed. This mirrors the same calculation used in supervisor reports and automated notifications, so the badge always reflects the real compliance state.
In plain terms:
If your due date is Monday and the training has a 3-day grace window, the Overdue badge will not appear until Thursday.
Do not wait for the Overdue badge. Complete your training before the due date so you stay within the expected schedule.
Alert banners
At the top of My Trainings you may see one or both of these banners:
- Red alert - lists how many trainings are overdue or due within the next 3 days ("urgent"). This draws your attention to the most time-sensitive items.
- Yellow reminder - shows trainings with a recertification date coming up in the next 90 days. These are completions you already have on file but whose validity period is about to expire.
Recertification re-enrolments
Some trainings - for example, an annual safety procedure or a triennial ISO 9001 module - require periodic renewal. When the validity of a previous completion approaches its expiry:
- You will see a reminder banner on the My Trainings page listing the training and the expiry date.
- When the validity period actually expires, a fresh assignment is created automatically and appears in your Pending list.
Your earlier completion records are never removed. The new assignment creates a separate piece of evidence once you complete it.
Filtering
You can filter the list by status. Click the filter chip that appears when a deep-link from the dashboard or a notification targets a specific status (for example, "3 overdue"). To clear the filter and see all trainings, click the X on the active-filter chip.
Completed trainings
A preview of your three most-recently completed trainings appears at the bottom of the page. Click View full history to go to the History page, where you can see all completed trainings and download certificates.
