Certificates and history

The History page is your personal record of every training you have completed in Better Comply. From here you can see completion dates, quiz scores, and download a PDF certificate for any record.

Who this is for

Employees who have at least one completed training.

Click History in the left-hand navigation menu. The page loads your completed records, sorted by most-recent completion first.

You can also reach it from the My Trainings page by clicking View full history at the bottom of the Completed section.

What the History page shows

At the top, three summary counters give a quick overview:

  • Completed trainings - total number of training completions on file.
  • Passed quizzes - how many completions included a passed quiz.
  • Available certificates - number of downloadable certificates.

Below the counters, each completed training appears as a card with:

  • Training name
  • Completion date
  • Training version (for example, "Version 1.2")
  • Quiz score badge (if a quiz was part of the training), shown in green for a pass and red otherwise
  • Download certificate button

Downloading a certificate

  1. Find the training in your history list.
  2. Click Download certificate on that card.
  3. A PDF certificate downloads to your device immediately.

The certificate is generated at the moment you click, using the evidence record stored in the system. It includes:

  • Your name
  • Training name and version number
  • Completion date
  • Quiz score and result (if applicable)
  • A unique evidence ID you or a compliance officer can use to verify the record

Certificates are localized

Better Comply generates certificates in the language of the training, not necessarily your current interface language. The platform supports eleven locales (including Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, Polish, Turkish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Hungarian, Russian, and Italian), so a certificate for a training delivered in Spanish will be in Spanish regardless of your personal language setting.

info

The certificate PDF is produced by the server, not the browser. It uses proper fonts for Latin-extended and Cyrillic characters, so names with accents or non-Latin letters (for example, Garcia, Muller, Lukasz, or Ivanov) print correctly.

What a certificate proves

A certificate is a human-readable summary derived from your evidence record - the immutable record created when you completed the training. The evidence record itself contains more detail than the certificate (including IP address, signature method, and the full manifestation text), but the certificate is the portable document you can share with an auditor, HR team, or external body.

Immutable evidence

The underlying evidence record cannot be altered after it is created. The certificate always reflects the actual completion data. See Compliance and audit-readiness for how evidence records meet 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 9001 §7.2 requirements.

Filtering

If you arrived at the History page from a notification or a filtered link, a filter chip may be active at the top of the list. Click the X on the chip to clear it and see all records.

Certificates also available from Profile

Your completed trainings and their certificates are also accessible on your Profile page under the Completed Trainings section. Both locations show the same evidence records.
