Signing in

Better Comply supports two sign-in paths: the standard email and password flow used by most office workers, and an employee-number and PIN flow designed for shop-floor workers who share a kiosk and do not have a company email address.

Who this is for

Everyone. The sign-in method you use depends on how your administrator set up your account.

Before you start

Better Comply is invite-only. You cannot create your own account. Your administrator must either:

  • Send you an invitation email (email-based accounts), or
  • Set up your employee number and give you your PIN in person (kiosk accounts).

If you do not have access, contact your organization administrator.

Sign in with email and password

This is the default flow for administrators, quality staff, HR, and office-based employees.

  1. Open the Better Comply URL provided by your organization.
  2. On the login page, make sure the Email form is showing. If you see an employee number field instead, select Sign in with email at the bottom of the card.
  3. Enter your Email address.
  4. Enter your Password.
  5. Select Log in.

If your credentials are correct you are taken straight to your home page (which varies by role - see Roles).

Forgotten password

There is no self-serve password reset. Contact your system administrator to have your password reset.

Sign in with employee number and PIN

This path is for shop-floor and warehouse workers who use a shared kiosk and do not have a company email address. Administrators set up these accounts with an employee number and a PIN; no email address is needed.

  1. Open the Better Comply URL on the shared kiosk.
  2. On the login page, select Sign in with employee number at the bottom of the card.
  3. Enter your Employee number (also called a personnel number - your administrator will tell you what it is, for example 100245).
  4. Enter your PIN.
  5. Select Log in.

Shop-floor accounts

Even though no email address is on file, your completions and electronic signatures are still recorded against your named account. For compliance purposes, your employee number is the durable identifier. See Compliance and audit-readiness for details.

Switching between sign-in modes

Use the button at the bottom of the login card to toggle between Sign in with email and Sign in with employee number.

After signing in
