Wrong answers
When a learner does not pass a quiz, Better Comply records exactly which questions were answered incorrectly. Admins and team leads can review those answers from within the Reports page to identify coaching opportunities or gaps in training content.
Administrators (Quality Admin, HR Admin, Corporate Admin) and Team leads with access to the learner's records.
Where to find the wrong-answer review
Wrong answers are accessed from inside the per-person drill-down sheet:
- Go to Reports in the sidebar.
- Select the By Person tab (or click a department row to filter first).
- Click a person's row to open the drill-down sheet.
- Find the assignment whose answers you want to review.
- Click the expand arrow on the left of that row.
The wrong-answer panel loads the learner's most recent quiz attempt for that assignment.
What the panel shows
If the learner has not yet attempted the quiz, the panel shows "No quiz attempt recorded for this assignment."
When an attempt exists, the panel lists each missed question with:
- The question text (falls back to "Question N" when no text is stored).
- The learner's answer - the option they selected ("No answer" when they skipped).
- The correct answer - the option the author marked correct.
- The explanation - the text the training author wrote to explain why that answer is correct. This is optional and may be blank.
Questions answered correctly are not listed - the panel focuses on what went wrong.
Using wrong answers to improve
Content gap: if many learners miss the same question, the training content may not explain that topic clearly. Consider editing the training material and creating a new version for review.
Question clarity: if learners pick a consistent wrong answer, the question wording or options may be ambiguous. The training author can revise the quiz in the Training authoring flow.
Coaching opportunity: if a specific person repeatedly misses the same question, a direct conversation or targeted refresher may be more effective than waiting for the next training cycle.
The drill-down shows the learner's latest quiz attempt. Earlier attempts are not compared here. If a training has multiple quiz attempts, you see only the last one.
